Manage Your REI Visa Card Account
Want to pay your REI Visa bill automatically? Need an extra card for a family member? (So you can grow your REI dividend faster.) Use the forms and information here to make your REI Visa card work harder for you—so you have more time to get out and enjoy the outdoors.

Note: Your signature is required on some forms to authorize changes to your REI Visa account. For your convenience, printable PDF forms are provided in these instances—simply print the form you need, complete it and mail or fax it to us. When your signature is not required, online forms are provided to expedite your request.

Printable Forms (PDFs)
Sign Up for AutoPay
Pay your REI Visa card bill automatically each month from the checking or savings account you specify. This convenient, free service lets you sign up to pay the amount you choose: your full balance, the minimum balance or a fixed amount every month. To sign up for AutoPay, just print the AutoPay form (PDF), complete it and mail or fax it back.

Sign Up for PhonePay
Use a touch-tone phone to call in your payment from anywhere: your home, your office or on the road. It's fast and easy. First you need to sign up for this option, and then when you receive your REI Visa card statement, you're set. You can call Cardmember Service anytime before your payment due date—even on the due date if you call before 7 p.m. (CST). Have your REI Visa card account number handy and follow the easy payment instructions.

PhonePay is free for payments made from a U.S. Bank checking or savings account. With any other bank account, there is a $10 fee for each use of PhonePay. Confirmation of the service charge will be provided before the payment transaction is authorized. Remember to subtract your payment and the fee from your checking or savings account. To sign up for PhonePay just call 1-877-REI-8742.

Add a Joint Cardmember
A Joint Cardmember, also known as a secondary cardmember, is someone who is jointly responsible for the balance owed on your REI Visa card. They'll receive their own REI Visa card with their name on it and help you grow your dividend with every purchase. Complete the Joint Cardmember form (PDF) to add an individual to your REI Visa card.

Note: The primary cardmember must be the REI member.

Add an Authorized User
You'll grow your dividend faster as family members or anyone else you choose enjoy the convenience of using an REI Visa card. You can add up to three additional cards to your account for free. Complete the Authorized User form (PDF) and mail or fax it to us, or call Cardmember Service at 1-877-REI-8742 with questions.

†Primary cardmember is liable for charges made by their authorized users.

Add Overdraft Protection
If you have a U.S. Bank checking account, you can protect yourself from costly overdrafts by having funds automatically transferred from your REI Visa card account when necessary. Funds will be transferred to cover the overdraft amount up to your available credit limit. No transfers will be made for less than $25. Cash advance fees apply. To sign up, simply print, complete and mail this form: Overdraft Protection (PDF).


Online Forms
Enroll in WebPay
With just a few clicks you can pay your REI Visa card bill from your Internet-enabled computer. It's fast and it's free. Your bill will be paid from the checking or savings account you specify when you enroll. To sign up, be ready with your REI Visa card number, and the account number and the RTN for the checking or savings account from which you want to pay your bill. You'll be set up when you enroll now in Internet Banking.

Credit Limit Increase
Want to make a large purchase? Bumping against your credit limit? We want to help you get the most out of your REI Visa card. Use this online form to request a Credit Limit Increase or contact REI Visa Cardmember Service at 1-877-REI-8742.

Have the following information handy:
  • Household income
  • Name of your employer
  • Your rent or mortgage payment amount
  • Amount of the credit limit you need

Convenience Check Requests
Convenience checks can be used to access the credit limit from your REI Visa credit card account. A convenience check can be used just like a personal check to pay bills, to make purchases or for whatever you choose. Cash advance fees apply. To request convenience checks, complete this form or call Cardmember Service at 1-877-REI-8742.

Note: The REI Visa card 1% rebate is not earned on convenience checks or cash advances.

Balance Transfers
You can transfer balances from up to four of your other credit cards to your REI Visa card. You will need the information listed below to complete the Balance Transfer form. This information may be obtained from your statements or from the back of your credit cards:
  • Payee name
  • Address
  • Account number
  • Amount of transfer

Note: The REI Visa card 1% rebate is not earned for balance transfers.

Upgrade Your Card
Got the REI Visa Classic card but want Gold? Use this Upgrade Your Card online form to request an upgrade to the REI Visa Gold card and enjoy these additional benefits:

Or, call Cardmember Service at 1-877-REI-8742 and let them know you want to upgrade to the REI Visa Gold card. They will review your account to see if you qualify.
